Altar Digital was born out of the inspiration to create an online community for curious individuals to embody their bodies together.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This space inspires movement in the physical body while also seeing movement as a doorway into greater intimacy with the self and all of life. At the core, Altar digital is a supportive community that encourages its members to learn MORE than just how to move your physical body. Through instinctive meditation and other intuitively guided embodiment practices, we encourage inner exploration, and connection.

This month we invite you to embrace and practice SLOW Transitions with us. This is a fundamental teaching in instinctive meditation and one that we are fully committed to sharing as teachers and practitioners ourselves.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There is power in taking short 20-30 second pauses between one activity and the next. There is potency in gifting ourselves 3-5 minutes at the end of a meditation or movement practice to savor what we just experienced. This also helps our nervous system, brain and body digest what was and adjust towards what is about to come next.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A slow transition can look like lingering at the end of your movement or meditation session and gazing out the window for a few minutes until you feel fully back into your body and conscious breath or getting in your car after your hike and feeling into the aliveness in your body for 20-30 seconds.
